How do you get your Property and Casualty License in California to be an agent?
I was just wondering how you go about obtaining your license for Property and Casualty in California… also how bout life insurance… is there a governing board like the DRE (Department of Real Estate)? for some reason I can’t find the information anywhere.

www.PreLicenseTraining.com offers pre-license training for the state of california online. Once you complete the course, you go to the DOI (dept of insurance) to take your tests. About $500 total to go through the training and take both tests.
